# How Reps Works

* Reps uses **Axiom’s site + live Solana market data**.
* When you click BUY or SELL, Reps **intercepts the action** and records it as a simulated trade.
* Everything else looks and feels the same as trading live.
* The result → you get the practice, without the risk.

**Why Reps Exists**

Most traders lose money because they jump straight into live markets too soon. Reps lets you train in **real conditions** without risk.

**What Happens Behind the Scenes**

* **Live Market Data** → Prices are pulled from Solana markets.
* **Fake Balance** → Every trade you place uses simulated funds.
* **Performance Tracking** → Reps logs entries/exits and calculates PnL.
* **Trade History** → Review past trades to see patterns, mistakes, and wins.
